Bay Friendly Landscaping

The Alameda County Waste Management Authority and the Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling Board operate as one public agency under the name of Stopwaste.org. This agency has developed set of water-wise landscaping guidelines for the Bay Area called “Bay-Friendly Gardening”. You can view and download the Bay-Friendly Gardening guide here.

BAWSCA has worked with Stopwaste.org to offer copies of their excellent publication “A Bay-Friendly Landscaping Guide to Mulch”. The customized version of this guide lists information about the BAWSA member agencies on the back cover. Click here to download your copy. For a hard copy, please call 650-349-3000 or email us.

In the near future, BAWSCA will work with Stopwaste.org to customize the Bay-Friendly Gardening guide with a back cover for BAWSCA member agencies.
