SF RWS Purchases

In FY 2024-25, the BAWSCA member agencies reported SF RWS purchases of 128.71 mgd, 4.11% higher than the total of 123.63 mgd purchased in FY 2023-24. In addition, BAWSCA member agencies reported 4.78 mgd in lieu water as part of the conjunctive use program. Compared with the prior ten-year average, total purchases in FY 2024-25, including in lieu water, were above average by 0.87 mgd. When compared to FY 2013-14, the highest year in the prior ten-year period, FY 2024-25 purchases were lower by 15 mgd, a difference of about 10%.
