This Rain Garden Construction and Plant Selection workshop introduces participants to designing, building, and maintaining effective rain gardens that manage stormwater and support local ecosystems.  Learners will explore site assessment, soil preparation, and proper  installation techniques, along with guidance on selecting native and climate-appropriate plants. Highlights include real-world examples, plant palettes for different moisture zones, tips for long-term  success, and practical insights from our instructor. By the end, participants will feel confident planning a rain garden that reduces runoff,  improves water quality, and enhances landscape beauty.
